About The Position
Exciting Opportunity: CEO Needed for privately owned, Rapidly Growing E-commerce Business located in beautiful Charleston, SC. Are you a dynamic and entrepreneurial leader ready to steer a privately-owned, fast-growing e-commerce business to new heights? With a robust market presence exceeding $100 million, we are seeking a visionary CEO to drive our organization as we embark on the next phase of growth. Key Highlights: Privately-Owned, Fast-Growing E-commerce: Join us as we further accelerate our market leading e-commerce business. As a business experiencing rapid growth, we're seeking a CEO who thrives in entrepreneurial, action-oriented environments and is ready to scale with us. Expertise in Branded D2C and Marketplaces: Our ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in both branded direct-to-consumer (D2C) and marketplace (Amazon & more) segments of e-commerce. While proficiency in both disciplines is valued, a deep understanding of D2C is paramount as we solidify our market presence. Expertise in advertising (Meta/Google), Social Media Marketing and best in class 3rd party marketing tools for e-mail/retargeting/merchandizing) is essential for this position. Empowerment-Oriented Team Leadership: Do you excel in leading, motivating, and nurturing non-hierarchical teams? Our non-corporate, collaborative, flat structure and hands-on, can-do culture is what has helped us scale our business and we want to keep it that way! We are extremely data driven and we have no space for big egos. Instead, we value servant leadership and the desire and ability to develop talent from within. Excellent communication skills are essential – we are looking for someone to be the “glue” between our teams and help motivate and foster collaboration across the organization. Resourceful Scaling Solutions: Comfortable navigating resource-constrained environments? We're seeking a CEO with a knack for devising creative solutions to scale both top and bottom-line performance, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability. Outstanding financial literacy and discipline in managing people and processes to achieve KPI’s on time and in full is key. External Relations Management: As the face of our company, you'll be adept at running board meetings, representing us to banks and investors, and managing external resources such as agencies, suppliers, and partners. We are looking for a seasoned leader with a proven track record in these areas. Measuring success via regular KPI trackers and aligning teams around key metrics is essential.
