About The Position
The E-Commerce Books Production Associate is responsible for sorting, scanning, listing and shipping books, media and vinyl. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. Effectively perform daily sorting, scanning, and/or listing of ISBN and non-ISBN books, media and vinyl. Operate and load books into the book sorting machine. Responsible to meet productivity standards and production goals. Responsible for grading the condition of books according to industry standards. Collect book orders from warehouse, as needed. Prepare shipping labels / package items sold, as needed. Maintain a smooth flow of incoming and outgoing book product. Maintain a clean work environment. Demonstrate safe work practices through awareness and observation in support of a safety culture; reports any potential hazards or accidents. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
