About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate Logistics Service Representative to support our E-4 Program in San Antonio, Texas . Position will work with a team of 11 Logistics Representatives on a rotating shift in the new warehouse for the E-4 Program at San Antonio, TX. You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and/or international) to meet our customers’ unique requirements. Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer and/or management requirements. Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment. Position Responsibilities: Researches, identifies, and resolves customer supply support system inventory discrepancies. Investigates total platform vehicle demand management, replenishment, and electronic data systems. Monitors logistics system performance. Solicits customer feedback and takes action to improve satisfaction with company services. Manages field office resources. Manage and maintain warehouse inventories along with shipping and receiving of assets as required by the customer. Responsible for delivery of required items to the United States Air Force customer around the clock, rotating shift work is expected. Position requires the ability to open/close large wood crates, operate forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 of experience working in a computer-based inventory management system or warehouse management system.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with hazardous materials.
  • Must be willing to work a rotating shift
  • Must be willing and able to lift up to 35 pounds as necessary to complete the responsibilities of the job
  • At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer's needs and statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.

  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

  • Previous GOLD experience is desirable.
