About The Position
The primary purpose of this position is to provide identified dyslexic students with an instructional program characterized by components of phonemic awareness, graphophonemic knowledge, language structure, linguistic patterns, and processes. Instructional approaches include explicit, individualized, and multi-sensory instruction as per Texas Administrative Code. The role involves delivering the District's chosen dyslexia program, preparing lessons that accommodate different learning styles, and using technology to enhance the teaching and learning process. The teacher will also be responsible for assessing student achievement and helping students improve their study methods and habits.
