About The Position

Lockheed Martin is a global leader in aerospace, defense, and technology solutions, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovation. The Dynamic Components Quality team is seeking a highly motivated individual to report to the Dynamics Quality Manager within the RMS Sikorsky line of business. This role primarily supports the Dynamics Inspection Team, focusing on the CH-53K program. The analyst will work both independently and collaboratively with inspection leadership, manufacturing, and engineering teams to identify and remove barriers, improve inspection processes, ensure efficient part movement, and meet increased throughput demands. The position involves analyzing quality-related data, interfacing with various internal and external stakeholders, and driving continuous process improvements.

Requirements

  • Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Knowledge of MS office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Flexibility/Adaptability.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prefer experience with Sikorsky helicopter and/or aerospace products in a production/manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Sikorsky processes and procedures related to aircraft production (e.g. Non-conforming material management, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and drive change.
  • Experience in the field of production quality assurance.
  • Ability to work multiple tasks in multiple process areas simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate, review, analyze and report on quality-related data/metrics from production, service, supplier or process improvement activities and analyze data using statistical techniques.
  • Interface as needed with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives.
  • Help drive process improvements and cost savings utilizing a continuous improvement mentality.
  • Liaison with design engineering regarding CH-53K drawing interpretation and other inquiries from inspectors and function as the Quality POC for any resulting Engineering Changes.
  • Utilize lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement.
  • Support the execution and achievement of all applicable Lockheed Martin, RMS and RMS Sikorsky business objectives.
