About The Position

About the position: Velosio is looking for a Business Central Technical Architect to be an integral member of our Development Team. As a Technical Architect at Velosio, you will be part of the overall delivery team to ensure the client’s BC solution fulfills their business needs. Your day might look like: What You’ll Do Stay current on Dynamics 365 platforms, development standards and supporting technologies Identify training needed for the development team members to ensure the teams delivery is aligned with the most current trends Document Standards and Processes for development team members to adhere to Assist with closing technically complex deals Provide high level estimates as needed to assist with the closing of new sales Provide overall technical oversight to technically complex Dynamics 365 implementations Ability to break technically complex deliverables into manageable chunks to facilitate development team members delivery Ensure the overall vision laid out by the functional team is adhered to across all development components Leads/coordinates development efforts that cross multiple Dynamics 365 Solutions Where necessary bridge the gap between the functional team and development team members Provide indirect mentoring to development team members via code reviews and identifying process deviations Where necessary inform management where deviations from standards and processes deviations are observed on a consistent basis Perform remote or on-site software customization/development services for client projects to achieve utilization goals defined for Technical Architects Prepare development estimates/proposals Maintain forecast reflecting planned work Provide technical and functional knowledge of the development technologies for clients and functional consultants Design and develop new software applications for clients Design and develop modifications to the standard Microsoft Dynamics applications Create and develop new custom programs designed to integrate with Dynamics applications Attain and maintain appropriate certifications Collaboration & Handover Work closely with Delivery and Practice teams to ensure smooth handoff from pre-sales to implementation Provide solution context, assumptions, and technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle Collaborate with Marketing to contribute to or support content such as demos, webinars, case studies, and solution briefs related to Dynamics Development Quality & Best Practices Ensure solution designs follow Microsoft and internal best practices for security, governance, performance, and maintainability Review estimates and proposed solutions for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with customer goals Stay current on Business Central features, roadmap updates, and share insights with internal teams

Requirements

7+ years of Dynamics 365 Development
Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle
Strong understanding of Application Lifecycle Management
Possess Bachelor’s or equivalent experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies (Azure DevOps, Power Platform)
Excellent organizational skills, attention to quality, self-motivation, and a desire to succeed
Possess a professional presence suitable for direct client interaction by telephone or in-person

Nice To Haves

Experience on multiple Dynamics 365 platforms
Experience with Power Platform
Experience building automation to reduce development overhead
Experience presenting at conferences on technical topics
Experience utilizing GIT

Responsibilities
