Safran Seats is one of the few original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to offer an all-inclusive range of passenger seats for commercial aircraft, allowing you to contribute to impressive work that supports passengers in a variety of seating options, from economy to first class. As a Dynamic FEA Engineer, you will be responsible for performing advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulations and analyses to evaluate the dynamic behavior and performance of mechanical systems. This role will involve close collaboration with our engineering team to ensure the structural integrity, reliability, and performance optimization of our products, all while working under the close supervision of Lead FEA Engineers. You will have the authority to organize your daily and weekly workload to meet established milestones, and you will be expected to recommend design changes to mitigate technical risks. Your responsibilities will include inspecting CAD data received from designers, conducting mesh quality checks, setting up models for static and quasi-static analysis, performing necessary linear/non-linear static analyses, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. You will analyze and interpret FEA results to identify potential design flaws and areas for improvement, validate models with tests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development of design guidelines and testing protocols. Staying updated on the latest advancements in dynamic FEA methodologies and tools will also be a key part of your role, as you apply these to enhance analysis capabilities and efficiency.
