About The Position
The Colorado Department of Natural Resources is seeking dedicated individuals to manage and conserve Colorado's natural resources. The mission is to balance development with conservation for the benefit of current and future generations. This position is located in the Division of Water Resources, specifically in the State Engineer's Office, which administers the waters of the State to maximize lawful beneficial use and ensure the safety of dams and water wells. The role involves basic measurement and recording of water diversions, monitoring water measurement devices, conducting field inspections, and assisting the public with water information.
