Dorsey, Wright Associates, a subsidiary of Nasdaq, is currently seeking an Asset Management Research Analyst to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. The ideal candidate will hold their Series 65 professional designation (or be willing to obtain it shortly after hire) and will be eager to learn about our company from the ground up. In this position, you will be responsible for producing research material on specialized areas such as equities and fixed-income. Your work will provide our clients, including RIAs, Financial Advisors, and Fund Managers, with high-level strategic investment-related advice to support their investment decisions. You will prepare reports that cover market trends and indicators based on the Point & Figure and Relative Strength methodologies for both internal and external purposes. Additionally, you will work directly with clients to establish both day-to-day and long-term strategies. As part of the DWA analyst team, you will engage in various projects and initiatives that support the DWA Tools & Services and Indexing businesses. You will provide insights to other staff members regarding recommendation evaluations and the ongoing monitoring of investment managers. Your role will also involve developing and maintaining data and infrastructure to enhance our knowledge management and customer service capabilities. You will acquire market knowledge and gain exposure to issues affecting Financial Advisors and other clients of the business. Furthermore, you will participate in producing custom reports and presentations utilizing technical methodologies, and you will be responsible for writing research reports and analyst notes. Real-time support to clients will be provided via phone, email, and chat services.
