About The Position
Fulton Animal Hospital is a full-service, small animal veterinary hospital serving Canal Fulton and neighboring communities since 1956. Our hospital provides services for cats, dogs, chickens, sheep, and goats. We’ve got you covered from preventative care, health certificates, surgery, and dentistry; to X-ray, ultrasound, and laser therapy. Over the years, our hospital has grown into a multiple-doctor practice, dedicated to offering the most up-to-date medical treatments while maintaining our hometown feel. Our skilled and knowledgeable staff proudly serve our clients and their pets. Come extern with us! Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help have them 'practice ready' by their first day in practice. Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed. Length of externship is flexible & we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School
- Must be able to provide student PLIT
