About The Position
Advanced Pet Care of Sedalia Practice Advanced Pet Care of Sedalia is a cutting edge, full-service, small animal practice that provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. The facility includes 4 exam rooms, open treatment area, individual DVM workstations and amenities such as: Well stocked pharmacy Ultrasound 2 Anesthesia machines Surgical Laser Digital Radiology Updated dental unit and digital dental radiographs Avimark software Closely supervised hospitalization area Indoor kennels and outdoor walking areas Position Purpose Come extern with us! Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help have them 'practice ready' by their first day in practice. Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed. Length of externship is flexible & we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.
Requirements
- Eligibility Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School
- Must be able to provide student PLIT
