DVM Student Externship - Highlands Veterinary Center
About The Position
We are a dedicated small animal veterinary practice that treats you and your pets like family. We have been serving our animal patients and their families for almost 40 years. The veterinarians and staff at our clinic are ready to provide your pet with cutting-edge veterinary medical care. From wellness exams and vaccines to advanced diagnostics and complex surgical procedures, your dog, cat, or ferret will receive high-quality care at our hospital. Come extern with us! Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help have them 'practice ready' by their first day in practice. Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed. Length of externship is flexible & we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School
- Must be able to provide student PLIT
