The Duty Manager – Aircraft Maintenance serves as the senior technical authority during assigned shifts, overseeing all aircraft maintenance operations in a 24/7 ground handling environment. This role provides hands-on technical leadership, operational oversight, and coordination of Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) training and airline-specific qualifications to ensure maintenance activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. The Duty Manager ensures operational readiness of supported aircraft, provides technical guidance to AMT Leads and technicians, and coordinates maintenance activities with airline customers and airport operations. This is a salaried, exempt position. Safety-Sensitive Position This position is classified as safety sensitive. The Duty Manager must comply with all applicable regulations of the Federal Aviation Administration, Transportation Security Administration, and U.S. Department of Transportation, as well as company safety policies. Employees in this role are subject to pre-employment, random, post-incident, and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing in accordance with federal regulations.
