Culmen International is looking for Dutch Foreign Language Instructors to support a future Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center effort in the Washington Metro area. This work is part-time. The Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) mission is to provide culturally based foreign language education, training, evaluation, and sustainment to enhance the nation's security here and abroad. DLIFLC plays a critical role in preparing service members for their missions, where the need for language and cultural expertise can mean the difference between key national security mission success and failure, or simply life and death. U.S. forces will continue to play important roles advising, training, and supporting partners and allied forces. The instructor will be responsible for developing the speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills required to interact effectively with foreign nationals and members of the diplomatic community to conduct the USG's business abroad. Please note: Courses will be assigned by various task orders and will range in duration from 10 to 64+ weeks. During each course, instructors can generally expect to spend 6 - 8 hours per day instructing and creating lesson plans etc.
