About The Position

In this position... You will conduct durability CAE analysis to support BEV, hybrid, transmission, and driveline activities. Use analytical tools and techniques to drive new designs as well as resolve issues relating to manufacturing and quality.

Requirements

Master's degree or equivalent degree
In-depth knowledge of analytical methods in durability CAE
Familiarity with Hypermesh, Simlab, Abaqus, FEMFAT, or similar tools

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of powertrain (conventional, hybrid, BEV) beneficial
Six-sigma skills beneficial
CAD skills beneficial
C++, Python beneficial

Responsibilities

Investigate MCR opportunities
Interpret results and draw reasonable conclusions
Document results
Communicate effectively with engineers, designers, technicians, suppliers, and management
Plan hardware testing to correlate FE model
Work with engineering community, test labs, metallurgy, metrology, and six-sigma teams to analyze data and establish trends
Research software and methods to determine best practices for analysis
Document methods clearly
Instruct others in best analytical practices
