At Dura-Line, we create what connects us! We're seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to perform inspections and testing, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with our production team to drive continuous improvements and uphold the highest safety and quality standards for our products.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control role within a manufacturing environment
  • Must have working knowledge and skills using MS Office-Word and Excel
  • Experience utilizing standard tools and product quality measuring devices is required
  • Ability to read, write and understand the English language
  • Experience with using material specification and requirement check sheets
  • Must have basic mathematical competencies
  • Experience working in a team with demonstrated effective communication skills is required
  • Flexibility to work overtime if needed
  • Recognize color spectrum and ability to distinguish between colors
  • Must be able to move about manufacturing floor, bend, stoop, twist in performance of job duties
  • Must be able to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using quality lab equipment is a plus
  • Experience with SAP or ERP data management systems preferred
  • Knowledge of root cause and corrective action processes and procedures is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily line audits to proactively correct defects and identify root cause corrective actions.
  • Inspect and test manufactured goods to ensure safety and meet/exceed acceptable tolerances.
  • Demonstrate a keen eye for detail, focusing on maintaining product integrity.
  • Actively contribute to a fast-paced, high-speed environment, following standardized work and safe practices in a continuous improvement setting.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of high-quality products.
  • Exhibit a team-oriented, goal-driven, and motivated approach.
