About The Position

We are currently seeking motivated and experienced Dump Truck Drivers to join our team at SRM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials such as rocks, sand, and gravel within the quarry site and to various locations.

Requirements

• Class B CDL
• Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination to stay safe while driving.
• Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, coworkers, and customers.
• Physical fitness and strength to perform minor repairs.
• Time management skills to ensure materials are delivered on schedule.
• Willingness to undergo SRM’s pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials around the quarry site and to designated locations.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) and company policies and procedures.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, collect and verify delivery instructions.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations.
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle.
