About The Position

Geddis Paving & Exc., Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Dump Truck Driver to transport construction materials to and from job sites in the local NW Ohio area. The ideal candidate will be capable of operating a dump truck, following both verbal and written instructions, and maintaining good communication skills. The role requires daily travel from home and may involve tailgating stone on job sites and backing into a paver.

Requirements

• CDL Class B minimum required
• Pass pre-employment drug screen
• Driving experience of 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Be familiar with the different parts of a dump truck
• Know how to drive a truck and understand the limitations of the truck
• Keep vehicles clean, serviceable, and road-worthy
• Have an understanding of the Company's business and customer base
• Be able to maneuver in tight quarters
• Be able to clearly document truck inspection and repair request reports
