About The Position

Allan Myers is seeking an ambitious and dedicated Class B CDL driver to join their team. This non-exempt position involves transporting construction materials to customer or various job site locations, with drivers remaining local and returning home safely after every night shift. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
1-2 years of experience on construction sites.
Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License is required.
One year of CDL driving in a vehicle with a GVW of 33,000 pounds or greater is required.

Nice To Haves

Previous dump truck experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Makes daily pre/post trip inspections on assigned vehicle to maintain maximum vehicle safety conditions and to check for any damaged or work parts or for any signs of tampering.
Pickup materials (dirt, stone, or asphalt), haul to jobsite locations and deliver materials.
Repeat process as needed in a safe and timely manner as directed.
Maintains a truck log in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policy.
Communicates regularly with dispatcher to ensure that delivery schedule is being followed and that any problems with traffic or with site conditions are reported promptly.
Complies with all aspects of truck maintenance, cleanliness, and repair in accordance with the guidelines specified in the Truck Driver's Handbook.
Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned.
