Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
• Must possess a Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL), Class A preferred
• Prior driving experience or a current Certification from a DOT compliant CDL Driving School is required

Responsibilities

• Deliver product and material goods in a safe and timely manner
• Coordinate delivery schedules using most efficient routes
• Conduct safety inspection of the vehicle before delivery including tire pressure, basic fluid levels and pneumatic controls
• Provide customer service
• Follow policies and procedures to ensure the job is done properly
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance
• Operate equipment and transport material
• Maintain a courteous and professional manner with co-workers, customers, and the public
• Follow OSHA/MSHA safety standards
• Be flexible with last minute schedule changes, location changes, and time of shift changes
• Transport material with attention to detail and emphasis on safety
• Assist with other positions for job completion
• Adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) policy and maintain individual PPE in functional condition
• Pass drug test and criminal background check
