Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in field or related area, equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Familiar with real estate investment concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Basic knowledge of standard accounting practices and procedures
  • Intermediate level computer technology skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple concurrent transactions and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes financial statements, operating data, and inspection findings to develop a comprehensive due diligence report highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Leads the collection, review, and strategic evaluation of due diligence materials, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards and applicable requirements.
  • Assesses deal context, site observations, and ownership engagement scope to determine appropriate inspections (e.g., PCA, ESA, specialty reports); schedules and coordinates inspections with sellers, internal teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Analyzes and interprets service contracts, licenses, permits, and third-party reports (e.g., PCA, ESA) to assess risk, identify operational obligations, and inform decision-making; communicates key insights to stakeholders
  • Oversees utility and telecom service transitions by coordinating with third-party providers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless continuity and minimize operational disruptions during onboarding and offboarding.
  • Manages utility benchmarking enrollment in compliance with local, national, and lender regulations.
  • Maintains and critically monitors transaction timelines, anticipating potential delays and risks by tracking deliverables, milestones, and third-party dependencies to ensure timely completion of due diligence objectives.
  • Collaborates with internal departments and external partners to align due diligence efforts with organizational priorities and timelines.
  • Other duties as assigned
