We are currently hiring a Manufacturing & Production Technician for our Duct CSU Machine to perform general assembly in our Groveland, FL manufacturing facility. Nice To Haves

  • 3 to 4 years work experience (preferred)

  • Ability to work with controls and quality check instruments.
  • Basic Microsoft Office/Windows knowledge is beneficial.
  • Capable of solving problems and using good judgment in making decisions.
  • Ability to read and work from prints, schematics, and technical bulletins.
  • Ability to read tape measures and use good rudimentary math skills
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs. and standing on concrete for extended periods of time.
  • Physical stamina and strength

Responsibilities

  • Prepare machine for production by positioning and securing material
  • Determine sequence of operations by studying blueprints, specifications, and work order
  • Regulate machining by setting and adjusting controls
  • Maintain specifications by observing operations; detecting malfunctions; inspecting parts; adjusting controls
  • Resolve production problems by altering process to meet specifications, notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality logs
  • Contributes to team effort working in other areas as needed
