About The Position

As the Shopper Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving in-store traffic, increasing velocities, improving merchandising, and enhancing buyer conversion of our brands at the point of purchase. Reporting to both the Trade Marketing Director and ShopCom Director, you will develop impactful shopper marketing strategies and programs. By collaborating with brands, agencies, Ecommerce partners, Trade Marketing, and Sales teams, you will translate insights into retailer programs that deliver significant wins for the customer, the consumer, and Ferrero. The position will be Hybrid, based in our US Headquarters in Parsippany, NJ office.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years relevant knowledge required, CPG marketing and/or sales experience including the development of shopper marketing or consumer engagement programs
  • Bachelor's degree required. Business/Marketing focus preferred.
  • Agency experience or experience managing an agency a plus
  • Experience with In-Store POS and Coupon/Rebate Programs
  • Experience in the development of digital, social and mobile activations
  • IRI or Nielsen proficiency
  • Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
  • Financial acumen- understands P&L metrics
  • Experience with customer loyalty card data a plus

Responsibilities

  • Supports key customer teams in the development and execution of customer specific co-marketing activations
  • Works closely with Brand Marketing teams to understand brand strategy, priorities, and budgets and ensures Shopper Marketing executions (in-store signage, sampling, incentives etc.) deliver on the goals
  • Develops and manages the shopper marketing budgets for responsible brands
  • Manages inputs into the shopper budget and tactic planning tool for accurate financial management, reporting and tracking
  • Inputs into the development of shopper marketing KPIs and measurement plan
  • Serves as the main POC for the agencies and is responsible for collaborating with them in developing activation plans with input from the Sales & Marketing teams
  • Executes post-campaign assessments to determine effectiveness in achieving brand marketing and Sales objectives, ROI, and executional KPIs and communicates those results with cross functional Sales, Brand and Trade Marketing partners
  • Partners with his/her eCommerce counterpart to build holistic omnichannel plans that complement each other and deliver on overall campaign objectives
