About The Position

Performs a variety of technician functions required for the Cath Lab, or Special Procedures, and Neuro Intervention under the direction of the Cardiologist, and/or Radiologist, Neurologist and the supervision of the Manager - Vascular Imaging. Requires independent judgment, integrity, and initiative. Under the direction of a physician trained in ultrasound and the department manager, performs cardiac, and peripheral vascular, and Neuointerventional ultrasound procedures that will require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.

Requirements

• Must be licensed in Radiologic Technology.
• Must be registered in ARRT.
• Registry eligible or enrolled in an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Must meet requirements of ARDMS or CCI to obtain registry eligible status, usually 2 years experience or a graduate from an accredited school of technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform technician functions required for the Cath Lab, Special Procedures, and Neuro Intervention.
• Work under the direction of Cardiologist, Radiologist, and Neurologist.
• Supervise by the Manager - Vascular Imaging.
• Perform cardiac, peripheral vascular, and Neurointerventional ultrasound procedures.
