About The Position

The position serves as a Supervisor and acts as Manager in the absence of the regular Manager. The individual will assist with the management of the Table Games Department on an assigned shift, ensuring compliance with approved policies, procedures, Indiana Gaming Commission Regulations, and Internal Controls. The role emphasizes maintaining high integrity and quality customer service for all patrons and employees.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Casino Poker experience.
  • Current Table Games Supervisory experience.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Upbeat and positive attitude, professional appearance, and team player.

Responsibilities

  • Complies with Indiana Gaming Commission Regulations, approved internal controls, and company policies.
  • Supervises the Table Games operations and personnel on assigned shift as necessary.
  • Reviews staffing and workstation assignments and adjusts as needed to ensure compliance with gaming laws and internal controls.
  • Ensures required equipment is available and functioning properly.
  • Reviews the performance of staff.
  • Ensures all gaming staff is trained on all policies and procedures.
  • Sets high personal standards for performance and encourages others to do the same.
  • Proactively recognizes rewards and celebrates outstanding examples of employee performance.
  • Performs Tandem Spotlights.
  • Coaches direct reports in pertinent skills of operations.
  • Provides written feedback in the form of PFF when applicable.
  • Counsels, guides, and instructs assigned personnel in the performance of their duties.
  • Serves as a role model to all employees at all times.
  • Monitors table limits and is aware of situational play in the pit.
  • Completes progressive/taxable jackpots and wins.
  • Serves as the 'expert' on the floor.
  • Authorizes guest complimentary to recognize loyal players in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Ensures all guest problems are handled quickly to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintains departmental procedures to protect gaming operations from loss, mistake, or theft.
  • Maintains current information on laws and regulations affecting table games.
  • Reviews and assesses reports and other relevant sources of information related to operations.
  • Performs all other job duties as assigned.
