About The Position

The position involves creating an entertainment environment for all guests and providing courteous, friendly, and prompt service in dealing table games. The supervisor oversees the operations of table games on an assigned shift, focusing on guest service, security of Horseshoe Casino & Hotel's assets, and positive employee motivation and coaching.

Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred.
  • At least six (6) months dealing experience is required and/or successful completion of dealer school or program at an accredited institution.
  • Must possess strong money handling and documentation skills.
  • Must have knowledge of casino rules, procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Table games.
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team across departments and levels of management.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the operations of table games on an assigned shift.
  • Displays a working knowledge of all table games, house rules, counting methods and procedures covering each.
  • Assures that all coin and check racks are filled at all times.
  • Settles disputes that arise from guests in the Table Games area, referring those that are very difficult to the Casino Manager - Table Games or Director Table Games.
  • Assures guest development by interacting with guests, modeling interactive skills with guests and fellow employees, and making comp decisions.
  • Remains alert to any unusual or questionable activities being displayed by any Table Games employee or gaming guest and reports any situations to assigned superior.
  • Observes problems or differences between Table Games employees and gaming guests and provides assistance if necessary.
  • Recommends change in department including hiring, promotion, demotion and termination; recommends wage and salary changes for personnel within established limits.
  • Maintains an upbeat personality for all interactions with guests and fellow employees.
  • Proactive in anticipating customer needs.
  • Familiarizes themselves with all guests' names and personal facts.
  • Possesses money handling skills in providing chips for guests.
  • Knowledge of card games and basic knowledge of other games and services offered at property.
  • Knowledge of department policies and procedures, including those pertaining to Federal and Regulatory laws and guidelines.
  • Routinely strives to build and achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Exercises appropriate discretion in identifying communications of special promotions to customers.
  • Coordinates with Casino Operations supervisor and Security to detect and prevent attempts to cheat and to identify floor irregularities.
  • Acts as a role model and presents oneself as a credit to Caesars and encourages others to do the same.
  • Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
