About The Position

The Dual‑Rate Poker Supervisor/Dealer performs in two capacities based on departmental needs: serving as a Poker Supervisor during assigned supervisory shifts and dealing poker games during assigned dealer shifts. This position supports the efficient, fair, and guest‑focused operation of the poker room while upholding all company policies, gaming regulations, and service standards. The dual‑rate team member ensures exceptional game integrity, delivers extraordinary guest service, and contributes to the smooth execution of daily operations. How You Will Create the Extraordinary When Supervising: Greet guests, serve as a visible and approachable host, and maintain a welcoming poker room atmosphere. Direct and manage dealer rotations to ensure balanced staffing and operational efficiency. Decide game mix and spread based on demand, table availability, and management direction. Control player lists, seating assignments, and table changes for all games in progress. Oversee shift banking functions, including accurate chip transactions and brush bank maintenance. Make clear, confident rules decisions on games in progress in accordance with poker room procedures. Ensure compliance with all revenue procedures, including accurate documentation and exception control. Delegate operational tasks appropriately to the dealing team and support other floor staff as needed. When Dealing Poker Games: Deal assigned games efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with established rules and procedures. Maintain strong command of game protection protocols to preserve integrity and safeguard company assets. Clearly answer player questions and explain rules with professionalism and patience. Create a fun, energetic, and customer‑focused environment with excellent table presence. Accurately manage pots, side pots, rake, and chip handling under fast-paced conditions. Maintain responsibility for table equipment, bank, and all items associated with the assigned game. Follow direction from Supervisors and the Floor team to support a well-run and organized room. Present a polished, professional appearance and adhere to all attendance and timeliness expectations.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
  • Ability to respond quickly to visual and auditory cues.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming License.
  • Successful completion of a poker dealing audition through an approved school, WSOP Dealer Management, or prior WSOP dealing experience within the last five years.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, composed, and professional demeanor.
  • High attention to detail in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
  • Ability to remain patient and calm when assisting difficult guests.
  • Flexible availability: nights, weekends, holidays, and variable schedules.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office systems (for supervisory responsibilities).
  • Ability to push/pull up to 50 lbs and lift/carry up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods; may also be required to sit depending on shift type.
  • Must be able to work in environments with secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lighting, and dust.
  • Must complete required in‑person processing and attend annual WSOP dealer orientation.
  • Must be able to report in person to designated WSOP venues.
  • Must provide personal housing and complete all required employment documentation.
