About The Position

The Dual Rate Beverage Bartender / Dual Rate Hospitality Shift Manager is primarily responsible for providing excellent customer service at the bar while also stepping into a managerial role as needed. This position requires a blend of bartending skills and hospitality management, ensuring smooth operations in the food and beverage department while adhering to company policies and standards.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
  • High School diploma or its equivalency required.
  • Four (4) years of experience in food and beverage, with two (2) years in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of all phases of full service dining.
  • Previous customer service experience required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, communication, coaching, team building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a casino environment.
  • Additional certifications in bartending or hospitality management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly and excellent service to customers at the bar.
  • Prepare and pour drinks accurately for customers and beverage servers.
  • Manage and oversee daily operations of the Food and Beverage and Facilities/EVS departments when acting as Hospitality Shift Manager.
  • Instill a sense of pride and personal responsibility in subordinate employees.
  • Resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic manner.
