The Dual Rate Bartender/Shift Manager plays a key role in delivering a polished, high-energy bar experience within a luxury casino and nightlife environment. This role supports daily bar operations while stepping into leadership responsibilities when needed. The position blends hands-on bartending expertise with operational awareness, overseeing bar setup, maintenance, and service execution. The D/R Bartender/Shift Manager prepares and serves premium cocktails, wine, and beer with precision, manages transactions, maintains immaculate workstations, and supports seamless service for both guests and waitstaff, all while upholding established recipes, presentation standards, and service excellence. In addition to elevated guest service, this role supports leadership on the floor by assisting management, delegating tasks, and guiding team members during assigned shifts. Provides supervision of trainees and assumes decision-making authority in the absence of the shift manager, including delegating responsibilities to bar, deli, barista, restaurant, and kitchen staff as needed. The D/R Bartender/Shift Manager ensures compliance with health, safety, and gaming regulations, promotes a culture of professionalism, and helps train staff to meet Emerald Queen Casino’s service standards. With a focus on teamwork, accountability, and guest satisfaction, this position contributes directly to an upscale hospitality atmosphere that defines the EQC as an upscale gaming and entertainment venue. As bartender, this position starts at $17.03/hr and increases to the standard $17.61/hr at completion of a 90-day orientation period. When working as Bar Shift Manager, this position starts at $31.82/hr and increases to $38.17/hr at completion of the 90-day orientation period.
