Requirements

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Working towards obtaining a bachelor's degree in an education-related field, with an associates degree or the equivalent amount of credits completed

Nice To Haves

  • Current LPS staff, especially those already working in dual language
  • Candidates currently enrolled in Salem State University

Responsibilities

  • Work full time in a dual language classroom planning and supporting instruction in all content areas
  • Meet with their assigned mentor on a weekly basis and incorporate feedback into their instruction
  • Attend PLCs and meetings with their assigned mentor teacher
  • Attend professional development to increase their knowledge of best practices in dual language bilingual education
  • Work towards obtaining a bachelor's degree in an education-related field
  • Participate in all RTAP activities with Lynn Public Schools, DESE, and Salem State University
