About The Position

Supervise the slot personnel during an assigned shift. Provide security and accountability of slot funds and ensure all policies and procedures are followed and are in accordance with the Indiana Gaming Commission Regulations. Complete written department forms to document cash transactions, jackpot payouts, and money handling. Monitor slot floor activities, simple data entry, and guest relations. By using Boyd Style Core Values, develop, apply, and maintain a friendly and courteous rapport with guests and team members. Maintain the integrity of company assets at all times (keys, funds, equipment, etc.). Perform minor machine maintenance. i.e. troubleshoot bill validator (BV) and paper jams. Explain benefits and merits of the player’s club in a clear, concise, and courteous manner. Enroll player accounts using the player tracking system and produce original and duplicate player’s cards. Issue comps based on available comp dollars. Assist guests with property amenities. Provide club details, enrollment, membership procedures, prizes, and advantages. Ensure all policies and procedures are followed and are in accordance with the Indiana Gaming Commission Regulations. Receive and resolve customer complaints or disputes. Assist with property promotions and events as needed. Ability to operate necessary equipment (PC, embosser, marketing kiosk, etc.) Maintain a working knowledge of property promotions. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to effectively use a hand-held radio and microphone.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during a shift.
  • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
  • Possess good judgement and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of experience in the same or similar role preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
