About The Position

The Director of Human Resources will play a crucial role in the property executive committee, reporting directly to the General Manager and functionally to the Regional Senior Director of Human Resources. This position is responsible for implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives, managing talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management, and employee development. The Director will work independently to develop processes that enhance HR services and contribute to the overall success of the property.

Requirements

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major with 4 years of experience in human resources or management operations; OR a 4-year bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years of experience in human resources or management operations.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and follow-up on engagement survey related activities.
  • Champion and build the talent management ranks in support of property and region diversity strategy.
  • Translate business priorities into property Human Resources strategies, plans, and actions.
  • Implement and sustain Human Resources initiatives at the property.
  • Coordinate the human capital review process and lead succession planning activities.
  • Lead the assessment of property leadership pipeline through the human capital review process.
  • Create value through proactive approaches affecting performance outcomes or cost control.
  • Monitor effective use of myHR by property managers and employees.
  • Lead and participate in succession management and workforce planning.
  • Serve as key change manager for initiatives with high employee impact.
  • Attend owners meetings as a member of the property executive committee and provide context to Human Resources results.
  • Supervise on-property Human Resources staff and market-based Human Resources Specialist resources.
