About The Position

State Fair Community College is an accessible, learning-centered institution, enriching its students and community by providing skills, knowledge and perspectives essential for a changing world. The position is for a High School Dual Credit Instructor located within our 14-county service area. The instructor will be responsible for teaching high school students college-level curriculum that is in alignment with our institutional curriculum standards.

Requirements

• Master's degree in the field with at least 18 graduate hours in the specific discipline for Associate of Arts instructors
• Bachelor's degree (associate degree and/or industry certification applicants considered) for Associate of Applied Science instructors
• Three years related industry experience for Associate of Applied Science instructors
• Demonstrated record of teaching excellence preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of technology and computer use

Responsibilities

• Course instruction dependent upon specific discipline being taught
• Utilize technology (including Canvas, mySFCC, and SFCC email)
• Follow SFCC discipline-specific curriculum
• Maintain regular communication with SFCC Dual Credit Liaison
• Submit attendance and final grades by institutional deadlines
