You will work closely with the Store Manager and/or Co-Manager to achieve store goals and maintain high standards.

  • Ability to lift up to a maximum of 50 pounds on an occasional to frequent basis.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl on a frequent basis.

Responsibilities

  • Elevate in-store experience by modeling Customer Experience Leader (CEL) behaviors and coaching associate behaviors to achieve store goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
  • Ensure customers have a positive experience by maintaining DSW store standards and completing daily open/close tasks.
  • Partner with Store Manager to create long-term strategic plans and communicate action plans with the leadership team.
  • Improve metric-based goals by reviewing and communicating daily/weekly/monthly progress.
  • Increase sales by leveraging inventory reports to maximize productivity and merchandise presentations.
  • Oversee processes related to audits, donations, transfers, mismates, damages, etc.
  • Set clear expectations and participate in all inventory-related activities.
  • Set clear expectations and participate in all omni activities in store.
  • Ensure a safe environment for both customers and associates.
  • Support Store Manager with associate timekeeping activities and resolve associate relations matters.
  • Participate in the performance review process and provide feedback to the Store Manager.
  • Recognize the store team through company recognition tools and develop the store team through training and coaching.
  • Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager and/or Co-Manager.
