About The Position

Direct Support Counselor is desired to work in the King County homes that require 24-hour supported living services. Full or part-time hours are available. Our clients thrive on their daily routine yet also enjoy impromptu outings and being participants of the community. Paid training is included.

Requirements

• Must be available to work 5 shifts per month, up to 10-12 shifts if needed

Responsibilities

• providing mobility support
• promoting positive mental, physical, and nutritional health
• observing, monitoring and recording clients' conditions
• healthy communication with clients, relatives and other caregiving assistants
• personal care, including infection prevention and control, food, personal hygiene and overall reassurance, comfort and safety
• performing household chores and ordering supplies
