About The Position

BAYADA Home Health is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) / Habilitation Technicians to provide care to clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the comfort of their own homes. The role involves assisting clients with daily tasks, community integration, and personal care. BAYADA is an accredited, regulated, certified, and licensed home health care provider, celebrating 50 years of service. The company offers flexible scheduling with shifts available mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends in Buncombe and McDowell counties, including Marion, Spruce Pine, and Old Fort.

Requirements

• At least one year of verifiable work experience with individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities

Responsibilities

• Ability to work independently in a client's home/community
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments.
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation.
• Participate in community integration activities.
• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming, etc.)
