HIT has multiple openings in their Day Programs for Direct Support Professionals. Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are tasked with delivering direct assistance to individuals participating in Day Services programs. The core aim of this position is to maintain a steady delivery of active treatment that corresponds closely with the goals outlined in each individual's Service Plan.

Requirements

• Knowledge and skill equivalent to the completion of a high school diploma.
• Preference for candidates with work experience in the field of developmental disabilities.
• Will obtain and maintain required certifications, including becoming a medication technician, CPR and First Aid certification, Therapeutic Response Certification, a valid ND Driver's License, and DD certification as necessary for the position.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct assistance to individuals participating in Day Services programs.
• Maintain a steady delivery of active treatment that corresponds closely with the goals outlined in each individual's Service Plan.
