About The Position

Willows Way is seeking a Full Time DSP Floater to provide quality supports for individuals with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities. This role involves working in varying locations throughout St. Charles and St. Louis Counties, requiring flexibility to adjust assigned locations as needed with little to no notice. The position guarantees 36 hours per week with a 5-day work week, Tuesday-Saturday, with shifts between 2pm-11pm. The Floater is responsible for maintaining positive working relationships with all staff, clients, and guardians.

Requirements

• 1+ Years Full Time experience supporting individuals with I/DD is required.
• Floaters must be able to work in all homes throughout St. Charles and St. Louis Counties.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Driver's License, car insurance and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass all background checks and classes required.
• Current CPR/FA and Level 1 Med Administration Certs
• Flexibility and Reliability

• Excellent communication skills
• Floaters are responsible for maintaining positive working relationships with all staff, clients, and guardians.

Responsibilities

• Complete all required documentation to include medication record, daily notes, progress on client goals and outcomes, and financial transactions.
• Support each individual so that s/he will feel a sense of self-determination, security, and have an opportunity to have meaningful relationships with others in their community.
• Assist clients with daily life activities including personal care/hygiene, household chores, shopping, and recreational and social activities.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to each individual served.
