About The Position

Are you someone who loves being on the go and making every day an adventure? Community Access Unlimited (CAU) is searching for a lively DSP Community to team up with a member who’s all about festivals, movies, art classes, summer swims, and community fun — plus sharing her amazing American Doll collection with anyone who’ll listen!

Requirements

At least 1 year working with people with developmental disabilities
Valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and a safe driving record are must-haves!

Nice To Haves

BA/BS in Psychology, Special Education, Social Work, or related field preferred — or relevant hands-on experience

Responsibilities

Keep our program standards shining bright
Safeguard members’ health, safety, and wellbeing — including medication and medical needs
Protect and manage members’ finances with care
Support meaningful employment and fun recreation
Build positive, respectful staff/member relationships
Follow the Individual Support Plan (ISP)
Uphold quality through agency reviews and CARF compliance
Provide hands-on, heartfelt support to members
Keep records sharp and updated in CareLogic (our Electronic Health Record)
Check your CAU email regularly — stay in the loop!
Partner with agency staff and authorities during inspections or investigations
And pitch in with any other duties that pop up!
