About The Position

Our Residential Program Specialists are Direct Support Professionals who extend support, supervision, role-modeling, and behavioral management to youth and adults who experience Intellectual/Developmental disabilities and significant behavioral/mental health issues. In addition to the overarching responsibility of helping people build a fulfilling life, this position changes lives for those who accept the challenge to help people live, grow, flourish, and triumph!

Requirements

Entry-level experience

Responsibilities

Extend support, supervision, role-modeling, and behavioral management to youth and adults who experience Intellectual/Developmental disabilities and significant behavioral/mental health issues
Help people build a fulfilling life
Foster community access and unpaid relationships
Provide social and daily living skill building with the goal of achieving maximum independence
Manage medication
Manage behavior, including physical interventions designed to maintain safety for the person and others
Perform thorough, accurate data collection and documentation
