How you will make history here… The DSD Warehouse Manager oversees daily warehouse operations supporting the Direct Store Delivery (DSD) network. This role ensures accurate order fulfillment, inventory integrity, safety compliance, and effective coordination of temporary labor and route operations. The manager serves as a key operational and communication link between warehouse, sales, and route teams.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ months of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum 6 months of related warehouse or logistics experience
- Proficiency with Excel and warehouse technology systems
- Inventory management and warehouse operations
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze data and manage competing priorities
- Proficiency with route tablets and reporting tools
Responsibilities
- Manage daily inbound and outbound warehouse operations to ensure accurate and timely shipments
- Supervise temporary labor, including training, scheduling, and performance oversight
- Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee cycle counts
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, DOT, and internal safety standards
- Coordinate product rotation, destruction of out-of-code items, and surge event preparation
- Serve as a subject matter expert for route tablets and warehouse systems
- Communicate operational risks, delays, and opportunities to partners
- Investigate and resolve inventory, route, and delivery discrepancies
- Support cost control, process improvement, and operational efficiency initiative
- Directly supervises temporary warehouse labor and is responsible for hiring, training, work assignment, performance feedback, and corrective action in accordance with company policy.
