About The Position

Summary/Objectives The purpose of the Route Delivery Driver is to ensure timely deliveries to customer locations within Wisconsin, Illinois, and Michigan. This individual will be responsible to communicate with store level personnel on a regular and ongoing basis. Essential Functions Deliver product to grocery stores and distribution centers ensuring safety Load and unload truck Ensure effective employee relations. Actively promote and support food safety with product quality programs such as GMP’s, HACCP and quality and sanitation standards Maintain daily logs Competencies Must be able to drive safe Ability to communicate effectively with customers Must be able to work independently Must be able to accurately complete paperwork Supervisory Responsibility This position does not have supervisor responsibilities Work Environment The typical work environment involves driving in a company vehicle with frequent exposure to environmental elements. In addition, the work environment will include being onsite at various customer locations. May be exposed to multiple different climates. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee will also be required to lift up to 50lbs at times. The employee will sit over 80% of the regular work day. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Full time hours and schedule is subject to change with or without notice. Mandatory or voluntary overtime may be required to meet business needs. Travel This position will travel through means of a company vehicle for the entire balance of the regular work day.
