The DSD Receiving Clerk is responsible for ensuring that products delivered by vendors are properly received, priced, and accounted for. This role involves overseeing vendor activities, maintaining logs, updating system files, and ensuring that a backup receiving clerk is trained and available. The clerk will also handle discrepancies, maintain an organized receiving area, manage damaged merchandise, and follow security and shrink procedures. Additional duties include performing as a stocker and cashier, as well as any other tasks assigned by management.
