The DSD Receiving Clerk at Lowes Foods is responsible for ensuring that products delivered by vendors are properly received, priced, and accounted for. This role involves overseeing vendor activities, maintaining logs, updating system files, and ensuring that a backup receiving clerk is trained and available. The clerk will also handle discrepancies, maintain an organized receiving area, manage damaged merchandise, and follow security and shrink procedures. Additionally, the clerk may perform duties as a stocker and cashier, as well as other tasks assigned by management.
