About The Position

ION Solar is a rapidly expanding, full-service residential solar company with a strong nationwide presence. Our dedicated team is committed to making solar energy accessible and affordable for homeowners across the country. We are looking for qualified Technicians who will be responsible for patching of drywall following the solar installation.

Requirements

Work exceptionally well with others, competently delegate work among the crew, and resolve potential issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Organized with attention to detail.
Ability to resolve customer concerns while maintaining a professional and calm demeanor.
Must work well unsupervised and be self-motivated
Proficient math skills to calculate the number of materials needed
Ability to use ION technology, such as Paycom, FieldPro, Salesforce, and smartphones
Must possess a valid Driver's License and be willing to submit to a Motorized Vehicle Report
A high school diploma or equivalent is required
More than 1 year of previous construction experience is required in electrical, roofing, or framing.
Must be at least 21 years old
Must have a clean driving record as determined by a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
Physically able to climb, stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Must use earplugs around loud equipment and wear gloves, safety glasses, and other protective gear.

Responsibilities

Patching drywall, some sidng and deck repair.
Complete projects within established policies and procedures.
Complete projects within time frames and budgets.
Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on crew safety.
Communicate with customers in a professional, considerate, and respectful manner, answering all questions and complaints to the best of your ability.
Perform approximately 90% of repairs involving drywall patchwork.
Performs other related duties as assigned
