About The Position
Tradesmen International is looking to expand our team of qualified Trade Professionals for current & future projects in and around Cheektowaga, NY. Most positions are first shift with a pay range of $25-35/hour based on experience & skill level. Job Scope: Measure, Cut, and Fit Drywall Sheets for Installation on Walls and Ceilings Position and Secure Drywall Sheets to Metal or Wooden Studs Cut and Install Metal Corner Beads to Protect Exterior Corners Fill Joints, Holes, and Cracks with Compound using a Trowel and/or Broad Knife Smooth out Excess Compound and Sand over Dry Compound
Requirements
- Previous Drywall Experience
- Tools for the Trade
- Proper PPE must be worn
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 10 is Preferred
Responsibilities
- Measure, Cut, and Fit Drywall Sheets for Installation on Walls and Ceilings
- Position and Secure Drywall Sheets to Metal or Wooden Studs
- Cut and Install Metal Corner Beads to Protect Exterior Corners
- Fill Joints, Holes, and Cracks with Compound using a Trowel and/or Broad Knife
- Smooth out Excess Compound and Sand over Dry Compound
