About The Position
The position involves reading blueprints and specifications to determine installation methods, work procedures, and material and tool requirements. The primary responsibilities include hanging drywall on walls and ceilings, patching drywall, and supporting activities at all Swinerton job sites as directed. The role requires trimming rough edges from walls, fitting and fastening wallboard, installing insulation, and assembling metal framing and decorative trim. The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring walls are level and plumb, installing door jambs, and framing openings for mechanical systems according to structural drawings.
