Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

Inspects forklift for safety and cleanliness.
Cleans forklift extensions and forklift as necessary.
Removes loaded racks, trucks etc. from stuffing table and loads into smokehouse with forklift maintaining proper spacing at all levels.
Unloads product from smokehouse and loads into Dry Room allowing proper spacing to all levels.
Unloads Dry Rooms and delivers to trucks.
Puts forklift on charge in proper charging areas as required.
Keeps work areas in clean and orderly condition.
Follow job rotation when hanging meat in trucks as required.
Fill out and sign proper record keeping paperwork.
Load trucks with Salami from Smoke House or temporary Dry Room storage.
Wash work area coolers & floors.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader and Supervisor.
