About The Position

About the Role: The Dryer Material Handler at the Wayland location provides support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to: Be able to learn to operate lift trucks in a safe and efficient manner. Must be able to read a production schedule and supply components and ingredients to the proper workstations without interruptions to production. Must be able to keep accurate and legible records. Must be able to keep up speed to keep dryer in operation. Must comply with the requirements defined within the contents of the GMP’S, SOP’s, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), LOTO procedures, and foods safety programs established by Bay Valley Foods. Perform other duties as assigned. Important Details: This is a full-time position on 3rd shift, working Thursday through Monday with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. 3rd shift operates 12am to 8am Shift differential included for 2nd and 3rd shifts. About You: You’ll fit right in if you have: Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written Experience with operating a sit-down forklift The ability to work overtime and weekends All employees are responsible for the quality and food safety of all products produced in this facility.
