About The Position

About the Role: The Dryer Material Handler at the Wayland location provides support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written
• All employees are responsible for the quality and food safety of all products produced in this facility.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with operating a sit-down forklift
• The ability to work overtime and weekends

Responsibilities

• Be able to learn to operate lift trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Must be able to read a production schedule and supply components and ingredients to the proper workstations without interruptions to production.
• Must be able to keep accurate and legible records.
• Must be able to keep up speed to keep dryer in operation.
• Must comply with the requirements defined within the contents of the GMP’S, SOP’s, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), LOTO procedures, and foods safety programs established by Bay Valley Foods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
